For most families in West Africa the barrier is never the surgery itself. It is not knowing which hospital, not knowing what it will cost, not knowing whether the number quoted on a phone call is the number on the final bill — and having nobody to call once the plane lands.
Complex kidney, liver and joint surgery is scarce at home. Months on a list is not a queue — for a failing organ it is disease progression.

The corridor
We do not try to send patients everywhere. We run a single corridor — West Africa to Delhi NCR — and we know every step of it: which consultant, which hospital, which visa desk, which guest house across the road.
Accra & Kumasi. Partner clinics and diagnostic centres refer directly; reports reviewed the same week.
Monrovia. Our first pilot corridor — families supported from first consultation to follow-up back home.
Lagos & Abuja. Highest-volume route, with the widest choice of onward carriers into Delhi.
Freetown. Served through our Monrovia coordination desk and partner referral network.
What we coordinate
Each has a named consultant panel, a fixed package structure and a recovery protocol we have run before. Indicative ranges below — your own written estimate is prepared free, from your reports.
Living-donor kidney transplant, dialysis bridging, and the full pre-transplant work-up — tissue typing, cross-match and cardiac clearance — done as one admission.
Living-donor liver transplant and the hepatobiliary work around it — cirrhosis management, portal hypertension, and complex laparoscopic GI surgery under one team.
Hip and knee replacement, spine surgery and complex trauma revision — including the cases that were told at home that nothing more could be done.
A full IVF cycle with ICSI, embryo freezing and the male-factor work-up included — at a fraction of what a single cycle costs privately in Europe or the Gulf.
Ranges are indicative, in US dollars, and cover hospital and surgeon fees for an uncomplicated case. They are not a quotation. Every patient receives a written, itemised estimate from the treating hospital before travelling. Cardiology, oncology, neurosurgery and paediatrics are also coordinated on request.

Your file goes to the consultant who treats that condition — not a call centre. Within 12 hours of contacting our team you have a written treatment plan.
An itemised treatment plan: procedure, hospital, named surgeon, hospital days, and the cost — plus accommodation and food for an attendant.
We prepare the visa invitation from the hospital, help with the medical-visa application, and plan routing for the patient and one attendant.
Airport pickup, accommodation near the hospital, SIM card, admission paperwork, interpretation and a coordinator on call through your stay.
Discharge summary, medication plan, and teleconsultation follow-ups with the same consultant once you are back — routed through your local clinic.

For doctors, clinics & diagnostic centres
You see the patient who needs a transplant, a joint replacement or an IVF cycle you cannot deliver locally — and then you lose them to an agent with a WhatsApp number. We would rather it stayed with you.
Refer through Aline and you stay the patient's doctor: you receive the treatment plan, the discharge summary and the follow-up teleconsultations. And you are paid a referral fee on every case that travels.
Referral fees are paid to the referring clinic or practitioner under a written partnership agreement, and are disclosed to the patient in the treatment plan. We do not pay for enquiries — only for completed treatment.

Nothing for the medical opinion, the cost estimate, hospital selection, visa documentation or ground coordination. You pay the hospital directly for your treatment. Our revenue comes from the hospital as a referral commission, and it does not change the price you are quoted.
Within 12 hours of contacting our team. Emergencies are escalated immediately. If your reports are incomplete we will tell you in the same window exactly which investigation is missing and, where possible, where to get it done locally.
For an uncomplicated case, yes — that is the point of the written estimate. Where a case becomes complicated (an extra ICU day, an unplanned second procedure), the hospital raises the variation in writing and we explain it before it is incurred. We never let a family discover a change at discharge.
Yes — the Indian medical visa system provides for attendant visas, and every plan we prepare is costed for the patient plus one attendant. Accommodation near the hospital is budgeted at about $27.50 per day and food for two at about $10.71 per day.
Once the hospital issues the visa invitation letter, medical visas from Ghana, Liberia and Nigeria are usually issued within about 72 hours. We prepare the invitation and the supporting file for you.
You leave with a discharge summary and a medication plan, and you keep access to teleconsultations with the same consultant. Where you were referred by a local clinic, we route the follow-up back through them so your own doctor stays in the loop.
You are paid 5% of the treatment-plan value for each patient you refer who travels and completes treatment. It is paid after the hospital invoice is settled, by bank transfer or mobile money, in USD or your local currency. The arrangement is documented in a short written agreement and disclosed to the patient. See Refer a patient.
They are our primary partners and cover the great majority of our cases. Where a condition is better served elsewhere in the accredited network — Artemis or Marengo Asia, for example — we will say so and place the case there instead.
